Why do we lose clients?

As we travel through life and our real estate career, relationships sometimes drop off and we lose clients for an unknown reason, except for, "Gee, we haven't talked in a long time". Here is an article I just tripped across on the internet by Ken Brand, who is a Prudential Real Estate manager in Houston, Texas.

He is saying there are four basic human needs that we must feed to maintain a relationship:
1. People Seek SIGNIFICANCE
2. People Crave CERTAINTY
2. People Desire an IMPROVED STATE OF BEING
4. You’re Peachy-Keen, They’re KAPUT

What is the definition of "the best agent"? Is it the agent that sells the most properties, or the agent that gives their client knock 'em dead service that causes them to tell all their relatives, friends, and co-workers what a great job you did for them. I think we all know the answer that question!
